About this website

This website is run by The Sound Haus, Harare, Zimbabwe. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

The website is a catalogue

The website shows the products we sell, their prices and whether we have them in stock. It does not take payment. All purchases are completed in person at one of our stores, or on delivery, after we have confirmed your order on WhatsApp.

Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars and include any applicable tax unless stated otherwise. Prices can change without notice because of supplier and exchange rate movements. The price that applies to your purchase is the price we confirm to you on WhatsApp or at the till, not the price shown on the website at an earlier time.

If a price on the website is obviously wrong, we are not obliged to sell at that price and will tell you the correct price before you decide.

Orders

Sending an order from the website is an enquiry, not a completed purchase. Stock shown as available may have sold by the time we read your message. An order is only confirmed when we say so in the WhatsApp chat, and a sale is only completed when you pay.

We may decline an order, for example if an item is no longer available, if a price was shown in error, or if we cannot deliver to the area requested.

Product information and photos

We try to describe products accurately. Photos may be supplied by manufacturers, and colours, finishes and small details can differ from the item you receive. Specifications are provided by the manufacturer and may change. If a detail is important to you, please confirm it with us before buying.

Promotions

Promotional prices apply only during the dates shown and while stock lasts. Where more than one promotion could apply, the lowest price applies; promotions cannot be combined further. Promotions can be withdrawn at any time.

Returns and warranty

Returns, faulty goods and warranty claims are handled under our Returns and warranty policy, and in line with the Consumer Protection Act (2019).

Use of the website

You may use the website to browse and to order for your own use or for your organisation. You may not copy our product photos or text for commercial use, attempt to interfere with the website, or use it to send false orders.

Liability

We are not responsible for losses caused by website downtime, by information that was correct when published but has since changed, or by third-party services such as WhatsApp. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Zimbabwean consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Zimbabwe.
